Hello! I'm Sophie, and welcome to Woof Wise!
I have always had a huge passion for animals, and I genuinely believe the bond between human and hound is one of the most powerful relationships we will have in our lives. As both a horse and a dog owner, I am aware of how important the connection with our animals is for both our own wellbeing, and theirs!
But that bond doesn’t come without building trust, safety, clear communication and fun ! I help owners and their dogs to build the trust necessary to be able to go everywhere together, and live a life without limitations, side by side.
I recognise that each dog is an individual and take the time to understand their personality, their history and their current situation to determine the most beneficial approach for both them, and their owner.
Each client will receive a confidential individually tailored plan to reach their goals that is achievable for their lifestyle, outlining the what, the how, and most importantly the why!
Please don’t worry if having a dog isn’t currently quite what you expected, or if your current dog is very different from others you have experienced. Its quite normal to encounter hiccups, even for the most experienced dog owners!
But with the right skills, dedicated support and a bit of time and patience (and of course humour!), these hiccups will become funny memories to reminisce on in the future (and trust me, we all have stories to tell!)
Nothing makes me happier than seeing dogs and their humans living their best lives together, and I would be honoured to help you, and your dog build a friendship to last an eternity.

Group classes are a great way to have fun whilst training your dog, network with other owners and to teach your dog to focus on you whilst other dogs are around! Adequate space is always given to ensure you and your dog are able to work safely and without too much temptation of playmates!
Details of upcoming group classes are below. Please get in contact if you wish to book onto a class.

Please contact me directly for availability for 121 sessions.
121 sessions are a great way to focus on specific goals and dedicate time to training areas of your choice. Sometimes other foundation behaviours may need to be established first, in order to ensure your dogs understanding and to reach your goals successfully, but I promise it will be a fun and informative journey to get there! Each 121 session will receive a follow up report to ensure you know what to work on between our sessions.

Not quite sure if group classes or 121’s are for you? But want to try something new and have fun with your dog?
Why not try a workshop session?
In short, these are a one off group class whereby there will be a primary focus on a specific behaviour. A great way to network, have fun and pick up some tips to use going forward! .
